Dancing like a moron to Iggy Pop doing Louie Louie with alphagirl along to some dancing game may actually be the most fun I've had in yonkers. Slightly disheartening to realise that I am so physically malcoordinated as to be tragic. Doubly sad as I live with effortlessly cool people who dance like they're on some fashion runway and barely break sweat. Actually, getting a little bit bitter about being the only non cool person in the house. How on earth can one be cool at the age of thirteen. Surely this is illegal, has she not heard of Morrissey and teenage angst. Alphaboy doesn't count. I am unmoved by his cool. I share a bed with this man. Not so cool when twitching and talking in his sleep. Still more cool than me though.Also, Iggy Pop on a Nintendo dancing game. Sonic youth on guitar hero. Is this really what the hipster wars were in aid of?
