- I am very devoted. If I love you then I really do love you and would do pretty much anything for you or to make you happy. The flip side of this adoration is that I only have room in my heart for seven or eight people at any one time. Four of these gigs are pretty much for life which doesn't leave much room for manoeuvre. Good news for the lucky few though.
- I'm good to have on your team in a quiz.I know a lot of random nonsense and am blessed with an elephantine memory for trivia and detail.
- I entertain myself. I know this is bad form to admit but I actually amuse myself. Last night I wrote a song about the cats,(well I say wrote, but actually it was a bastardised version of It's True that we Love One Another by The White Stripes) that actually made me howl with laughing. I kind of wanted to tell someone about it but it was late, and anyway, at the time my response was sufficiently cheering.
- I'm good in a crisis. For a bit of a space cadet I can be very calm and logical when it all goes wrong.
- I'm a happy drunk. I think this is a good thing. I love drunk me. Bit of a strumpet though.
- I'm grateful. I've learnt not to take kindness for granted. It really is a precious thing. When folk are kind to me I remember it, and am grateful. Really grateful. Actually this reminds me of a time when a friend of mine was dating a very dashing boy. She's a lovely thing herself but felt that she was punching above her weight.Once when she questioned him about this he grinned and said " but you're very grateful for it love" They're now married with two children, so that must have been quite some gratitude.
- I have a wonderful relationship with Alphagirl. I don't really want to expand on this too much but I had a series of not nice experiences with step parents. On meeting Alphaboy and learning that he had a baby I made a silent vow that were things ever to become serious between us I would learn from the wrongs of others and would never be anything other than kind, loving and supportive of her. The keeping of this pledge is probably the thing that I'm most proud of in my life. Well, that or my capacity for whiskey.
- I have boss taste in music.
- I have some skills which would be useful after the apocolypse. I can knit and make bread, soup and booze. Also I have a lot of books, which would be handy to burn.
11 I laugh in the face of uniformity.
